At Golfer’s Lifestyle Magazine, we fondly remember Ted Stawovy, a passionate golfer who passed away in 2014, at age 87, while doing what he loved most – playing golf. Ted had just scored a birdie on the day he peacefully left us, surrounded by his golfing buddies on the 18th hole. His legacy lives on, and we’re thrilled to celebrate Cedarbrook’s well-deserved win at the inaugural Western Pennsylvania Golf Choice Awards.
With 36-holes of beautifully maintained golf, Cedarbrook has long been a staple in the Pittsburgh golf community. A year in Western PA golf wouldn’t feel complete without a visit to this iconic destination. Cedarbrook’s public golf facilities boast private club quality, featuring two 18-hole championship courses, a full practice range, and putting and chipping greens. Their electric Club Car golf fleet is equipped with UpLink GPS technology, providing pro-tips, precise distances, and live scoring integration for a cutting-edge golf experience.
Cedarbrook is also renowned for hosting golf outings, offering expertly organized events with the support of their PGA professional staff. Their outings are known for exceptional service, and the attention to detail both on and off the course is unmatched.
The Clubhouse Grill provides a perfect spot to unwind after a round, with indoor and outdoor dining options, and the friendly bar staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere.
We’re proud to honor Cedarbrook Golf Course for their contribution to the local golf community and their latest achievement in the 2024 Golf Choice Awards.
