What an exciting turnout for the first annual Western PA Golf Choice Awards! Now, it’s time for you to cast your vote for your favorite public and private courses across multiple categories. The process couldn’t be easier. Just visit the website, register, and vote from the top five nominees in each category.
The top five contenders were chosen by local golfers who nominated their favorites by registering and casting their selections. While some courses and clubs actively promoted themselves to regulars and members, others chose not to. If you didn’t see your preferred courses or clubs on this year’s list, be sure to nominate them next spring for the 2025 awards!
“There’s no catch,” said Tom Poljak, creator of the Western PA Golf Choice Awards. “You’ll need to register to nominate and vote, but we won’t sell or use your contact information for any reason other than to let you know when it’s time to participate again next year – and to send you a FREE digital edition of Golfer’s Lifestyle Magazine four times a year, guaranteed.”
The response has been fantastic, and Poljak recognized a need to give local golfers a positive and constructive platform to voice their opinions. “Unfortunately, we’ve all seen negative posts in various social media golf groups about courses and clubs. We wanted to create something positive that gives Western PA golfers a voice,” Poljak added.
Western PA is home to an abundance of incredible public and private courses. Everyone has their favorites, and it’s exciting to see which ones received the most nominations. Once registered, simply select either public or private categories and cast your vote. There are 34 categories for both public and private courses, including Best Overall, Best Fairways, Best Bunkers, Friendliest Staff, and even Best Hot Dog, which was added for a bit of fun!
Now’s your chance to make your voice heard! The winners and runners-up will be announced in the fall issue of Golfer’s Lifestyle Magazine and on www.golfchoiceawards.com during the first week of October.
Remember, this is all about having fun, celebrating local golf, and recognizing the courses you love. Golfer’s Lifestyle Magazine will also feature an article on each winner, which will be available on its blog at www.golferslifestyle.com(under “In the Swing of Things” in the navigation bar).
